FAQ’S
Booking & Availability
How do I check availability?
Use our Check Availability form. Tell us your dates, location/campground (if you have one), and group size—then we’ll confirm what’s available and send next steps.
How far in advance should I book?
Earlier is always better—especially for summer weekends and holidays. If you’re booking last-minute, still reach out. We’ll confirm what we can do based on schedule and delivery distance.
Can I book last-minute?
Sometimes, yes. If we have availability and your site is deliverable, we’ll get it set. Last-minute bookings may have limited delivery windows.
Can you help me choose a campground and reserve a site?
Yes. If you don’t know where to camp, we can recommend campground options and tell you what type of site you should reserve. (You’ll still place the reservation in your name with the campground.)
What if I don’t know where to camp?
That’s common. Tell us your ideal drive time, the experience you want (quiet, beach/lake, kid-friendly, close to town), and your dates—we’ll point you to sites that fit.
Do you offer “Plan My Getaway” packages?
Yes. Our Plan My Getaway form helps us build a simple, stress-free camping plan and match you with the right setup.
Delivery Area & Fees
Where do you deliver?
We’re based in Sioux Falls and deliver setups across South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska and Iowa.
How does the delivery fee work?
Delivery is a flat $100 and includes up to 30 miles one-way from Sioux Falls. Beyond 30 miles, it’s $3.00 per mile (one-way) for the additional miles over 30.
Is the delivery fee refundable?
Delivery fees are typically tied to scheduling, staffing, and transport. If you cancel, refunds depend on timing—please review our Reservation Policy for the exact terms.
Can you deliver to campgrounds, state parks, or private property?
Yes—campgrounds and state parks are common. Private property can work too if the access is safe and approved by the property owner.
What if my campsite is hard to access?
Let us know in advance. Tight turns, steep grades, soft ground, sand, or narrow pads can limit delivery. If the site isn’t safely accessible, we may need an alternate site or location.
Payments & Deposit
What is due at the time of booking?
The full nightly rate is due at booking to secure your dates.
When is the deposit due?
Your deposit is due 30 days before your reservation date. If you book within 30 days, the deposit is due at booking.
When is the delivery fee due?

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept standard online card payments through our booking process, Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, or Cash App.
Is the deposit refundable?
Refundability depends on timing and circumstances. Please reference our Reservation Policy for the specific rules.
Delivery, Setup & Pickup
Do I need to be there for delivery?
Not necessarily. Many guests are not present. We can coordinate access, campsite details, and entry instructions ahead of time.
What time do you deliver and set up?
Delivery times vary by schedule and distance. We’ll confirm a delivery window as your reservation approaches.
What time do you pick up?
Pickup windows vary as well. We’ll confirm a pickup window in advance so you can plan your last morning.
How long does setup take?
Most setups are completed efficiently, but timing depends on the site layout and hookups.
What all do you handle during setup?
We deliver, place the camper, level it, and get it ready as designed for the site. Hookups depend on what your campsite provides and what was selected in your booking.
Do you level the camper and connect hookups?
Yes—when the site provides the correct hookups and access, we level and connect what’s available (electric/water/sewer as applicable).
Campsite Requirements
What type of campsite do I need?
Most guests choose an RV site with electric (water/sewer optional). We’ll tell you what to reserve based on your setup and group.
Do I need a 30-amp or 50-amp site?
We’ll confirm what your setup requires. If your campground offers both, we’ll guide you on the right one.
What if my site doesn’t have full hookups?
That can still work. You may just need to conserve water and be more mindful of tank levels.
How long does my campsite pad need to be?
Pad sizes vary by campground and camper type. If you share your campground and site number (or a link to the site details), we’ll confirm fit.
Can you deliver to gravel, grass, or a driveway?
Often yes, as long as it’s level enough, firm enough, and accessible for safe placement.
Using the Camper (Beginner-Friendly)
I’ve never used an RV—will I know what to do?
Yes. We keep it simple and can provide clear instructions. If you have questions during your stay, you can reach out.
How do the bathroom and tanks work?
The camper has separate tanks for fresh water, grey water (sinks/shower), and black water (toilet). You’ll use them normally, but you’ll want to be mindful of how full they get—especially without hookups.
Can we flush toilet paper?
Use RV-safe habits. In many RV systems, minimal paper and plenty of water is best. We’ll provide guidance for your specific setup.
What do we do if a tank gets full?
If your site has sewer hookups, that’s easy. Without sewer, you’ll need to conserve usage. If you think you’ll need support, contact us as soon as possible.
How do I run the heat or A/C?
It’s controlled from the thermostat. Power availability and hookups can affect how systems run. We’ll outline what to expect for your site type.
What should we NOT do inside the camper?
Don’t move the camper, don’t overload electrical outlets, and don’t force anything (slides, doors, valves). If something feels off—message us.
What’s Included & Add-Ons
What comes standard with every setup?
A clean, delivered, fully set camper set up for your stay. Exact included items can vary by package—your confirmation will outline what’s included.
Do you provide bedding, towels, cookware, and utensils?
Package options vary. Some guests want a fully stocked experience, others bring their own. We’ll clearly list what’s included in your package and what to bring.
Do you provide outdoor gear like chairs, tables, rugs, or a canopy?
Available by package and add-on. If you’re planning a family gathering, tell us what you need and we’ll build it into the plan.
Do you offer “stock-the-fridge” or food add-ons?
We can offer pre-arrival convenience options and catered add-ons depending on timing and availability. Ask when you book.
Rules: Pets, Smoking, and Use
Are pets allowed?
Pets are Family. They are always free.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
No—smoke and vape odor is difficult to remove and can damage interiors.
Can we move the camper once it’s delivered?
No. The camper stays in place after delivery and setup.
Can we tow it ourselves?
No. CozieHaus is delivery and setup only.
Cancellations, Changes & Weather
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms depend on timing. Please review our Reservation Policy for exact details.
Can I reschedule instead of cancelling?
In many cases, yes—subject to availability. Contact us as soon as possible to discuss options.
What if weather is bad?
Camping is weather-dependent. We’ll communicate if severe weather affects delivery, setup, or site access.
What if the campground closes or cancels my site?
If your campsite is cancelled, we’ll work with you to adjust plans when possible, but campground decisions are outside our control. The faster you notify us, the more options we typically have.
Problems During Your Stay
What if something breaks or I need help?
Message or call us right away. Many issues are simple fixes, and we’d rather handle it early than after it becomes a bigger problem.
What counts as damage vs normal use?
Normal wear happens. Damage includes things like broken fixtures, stains, ripped upholstery, clogged systems from misuse, missing items, or anything requiring repair/replacement beyond normal use.
What if we accidentally clog something?
Let us know immediately. Quick communication usually prevents larger issues.
Family Reunions & Group Setups (Optional)
Can you deliver multiple campers to one location?
Yes. We can create a multi-camper “family hub” depending on availability, site space, and access.
Can you help with tables, chairs, and a gathering setup?
Yes. If you’re planning meals and group time, we can help build a simple, comfortable gathering layout.
Do you offer catering for reunions?
We can offer catered add-ons depending on the event and scheduling. Ask us about options when planning.
