Terms and Conditions

1. Overview

CozieHaus provides delivered and fully set-up RV accommodations for camping, family gatherings, and select event use. We do not rent towable units for customer transport. All units are delivered, set up, and retrieved by CozieHaus.

By completing a booking, you (“Guest”) agree to comply with these terms.

By booking, paying for, or using any CozieHaus service, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully.

3. Delivery & Setup Policy

CozieHaus operates as a delivery-only service.

Delivery Fee Structure

  • $100 base delivery fee (includes up to 30 miles one-way from Sioux Falls).

  • $3.00 per mile (one-way) for additional miles beyond 30.

Delivery fees apply per booking unless otherwise stated.

Access Requirements
Guest is responsible for ensuring:

  • The location allows delivered RVs.

  • The site fits the reserved unit.

  • Roads are clear and accessible.

  • Gates, codes, and site details are provided in advance.

  • The site is level and safe for setup.

CozieHaus reserves the right to refuse setup at any location deemed unsafe.

2. Booking & Payment

Reservation Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received.

Payment Terms

  • Remaining balances must be paid by the due date listed on your invoice.

  • To keep your dates secured, please complete payment within 30 days. Otherwise, your reservation may be cancelled.

  • Security / Damage Authorization
    By booking, the Guest authorizes CozieHaus to charge for damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, or policy violations as outlined below.

4. Guest Responsibilities

During the reservation period, Guest agrees to:

  • Follow all campground or property rules.

  • Maintain the unit in reasonable condition.

  • Supervise children at all times.

  • Secure doors and windows when not present.

  • Notify CozieHaus immediately of any issues.

The unit may not be moved, towed, relocated, or modified under any circumstances.

6. Cleaning, Damage & Missing Items

Reasonable cleaning is included in your booking.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Excessive mess or stains

  • Odor removal (including smoke)

  • Pet damage (if pets are approved)

  • Broken fixtures or appliances

  • Missing linens, kitchenware, or equipment

Replacement and repair costs will be charged at fair market value, including labor where applicable.

CozieHaus documents unit condition before and after each booking.

5. Occupancy & Use

Occupancy limits will be outlined in booking details and must not be exceeded.

Prohibited Uses Include:

  • Smoking or vaping inside the unit.

  • Illegal activity of any kind.

  • Roof access.

  • Burning candles inside.

  • Flushing wipes, feminine products, paper towels, or non-RV-approved materials.

  • Unauthorized parties that violate campground rules.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

7. Pets

Pets are allowed.

Guest is responsible for:

  • Cleaning up after pets.

  • Preventing pet damage.

  • Any additional cleaning required.

Uncleaned pet messes or damage can result in loss of deposit.

8. Catering & Add-On Services

Optional services such as:

  • Catering

  • Stock-the-fridge provisioning

  • Tables and chairs

  • Gathering setups

  • Event support items

must be arranged in advance and may require additional deposits.

CozieHaus is not responsible for third-party vendor performance unless explicitly contracted through CozieHaus.

10. Weather & Force Majeure

Camping involves natural elements and unpredictable conditions.

CozieHaus is not responsible for:

  • Rain, wind, heat, cold, or natural weather conditions.

  • Campground utility outages.

  • Fire bans or local restrictions.

  • Road closures or emergency conditions.

If severe weather or unsafe conditions prevent delivery, CozieHaus may reschedule or provide a refund at its discretion.

9. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation timelines apply from the scheduled delivery date.

  • 30+ days prior: Full refund.

  • 15–29 days prior: 50% refund of total booking.

  • Less than 14 days: No refund.

11. Assumption of Risk

Guest understands that camping and RV use involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Steps and elevated entry points

  • Fire pits and cooking equipment

  • Weather exposure

  • Outdoor terrain

By booking, Guest voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the stay.

12. Limitation of Liability

CozieHaus shall not be liable for:

  • Loss or theft of personal belongings

  • Injuries resulting from misuse of the unit

  • Campground rule enforcement

  • Utility interruptions beyond our control

Liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the booking.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota.

Any disputes shall be handled in the appropriate courts located in South Dakota.

15. Changes to Terms

CozieHaus reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking governs the reservation.
